How to Install Verity Mod for Minecraft

Start with a clean profile

Create a new Minecraft profile before testing Verity Mod. A clean profile makes it much easier to see whether a crash comes from Verity, a loader mismatch, a shader pack, or another mod in the same folder.

Match the loader exactly

Check whether the Verity Mod build is listed for Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge. Do not mix loader ecosystems in one mods folder. A Fabric-only dependency will not fix a Forge profile, and a Forge jar will not load correctly in Fabric.

Use the exact Minecraft version

Minecraft patch versions matter. If a jar is built for Minecraft 1.21.6, keep it in a 1.21.6 profile unless the release notes explicitly say the build also supports another patch. For older servers, keep a separate profile rather than reusing a newer mods folder.

Add dependencies before extras

Install the required loader API and dependencies first. Launch once without shaders, resource packs, voice chat, minimaps, or performance mods. After the first successful launch, add the rest of your pack one category at a time.

Back up worlds first

Horror and survival mods can alter gameplay expectations. Back up any long-running world before testing a new Verity Mod release, especially if you are updating a server or shared pack.
